This year’s Independence Day is special for John Abraham fans as the actor is all set to come up with an action thriller VedaIt also stars Sharvari and Tamannaah Bhatia. Directed by Nikkhil Advani, the film is described as “a powerful tale of resilience and indomitable human spirit”.

It follows the journey of a young woman Veda (Sharvari) who dares to challenge the status quo. Her fight for justice is bolstered by the unwavering support of an ex-army man (John Abraham), who becomes her shield and weapon. The makers unveiled the trailer on Thursday.
At the beginning of the trailer, John Abraham can be seen reading lines of Lord Krishna from the Bhagavad Gita while his character is shown fighting goons. Talking about the film, John said in a statement, “I am excited to be a part of such a film. VedaThis is a story that will impact the audience and inspire them to stand up for what is right.”
Advani also spoke about what the audience can expect from the project. He said, “I feel very strongly about presenting a film that entertains as well as gives a message, evokes a thought that stays with the audience long after the film is over. I hope the audience will love this film. Veda That’s the movie.”
