Vedang Raina and Khushi Kapoor have been rumoured to be dating since last year. Amid the dating buzz, the alleged couple recently joined hands for a collaboration with a dating app. In the ad, Khushi, who is on the set, is seen getting her hair done when she says, “Wait, I don’t always have to make the first move on Bumble anymore? So I can choose any first move and see all my matches? Great, I love it.” Vedang Raina enters the scene and says, “And, I love it. Come on,” and they laugh. “I overthink a lot, so it’s perfect. There are so many fun options; I don’t know what to choose. Okay, I get it. What’s the perfect first date idea? Do you like picnics? Ice cream? Laser tag? I like Pilates; do you like Pilates?” asks Khushi Kapoor. Vedang, looking a little lost, replies, “Oh yes, I love Pilates. I’m really good at it.”
Khushi Kapoor then tries another opening move, “Green flags, red flags? Personally, I think I’m a walking green flag, so…” Vedang Raina jokes, “For me, a green flag is when someone is kind, and a red flag is when someone says ‘I’m a walking green flag.’ Just kidding,” he quickly adds. Khushi adds, “How many episodes of a series is acceptable to watch in one go? I think I can watch for 7-8 hours if I have Panda and Mochi in my pyjamas and with popcorn.” Vedang enthusiastically replies, “I can do a 24-hour marathon. I’m a movie marathon expert. I just need a binge partner,” turning lovingly towards Khushi.
After the video was uploaded on Bumble’s official Instagram page, it caught the attention of Khushi’s sister and actress Janhvi Kapoor. Janhvi commented “cuties”, while Zoya Akhtar expressed her love with a heart emoji in the comments. Janhvi’s boyfriend Shikhar Paharia also left red heart emoticons.
ICYDK: Speculation about their alleged romance began on the sets of Zoya Akhtar’s film The ArchiesWhich was her acting debut. Since then the rumor of their relationship has been a topic of discussion on the internet.
Earlier this year, while talking about the dating rumours on Karan Johar’s chat show Koffee With Karan, Khushi Kapoor jokingly responded to Karan’s question about her relationship with Vedang Raina. She said, “Do you remember that scene in Om Shanti Om where there is a line of people and they say, ‘Om and I were just good friends’?”
Talking about work, Vedang Raina will be seen in the film ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’ with Alia Bhatt. JigraDirected by Vasan Bala, the film will release on September 27. Khushi Kapoor’s upcoming film is FoolishnessIn which she will star alongside Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh’s son Ibrahim Ali Khan.
