Stand-up comedian and actor Veer Das announced his debut as a writer with a memoir, External personInternational Amy-Vajeta Comedian shared the news on Instagram, where he posted a video, showcasing various chapters of his life, career and identity.

He wrote on Wednesday evening, “Laughter has really saved my life. I hope how fun and beautiful this world is. It soon hits the shelves, but you can order it in my profile.”
A press release stated that through the book, which will be published by Simon and Shuster, the slave will take the readers on a trip through his life, exposing the moments of self-cushion, heartbreak, failure and laughter, stated in a press release.
The memoir recalls several major events from the life of Das, including a moment, when he was stuck on a ghat in Kozumel, Mexico after his cruise ship due to visa issues.
Born in India, Das spent his early years between India and Lagos, Nigeria, and often felt like an outsider.

Das has performed at six standup specials – “Understanding abroad”, “losing it”, “for India”, “Veer Das: Inside Out”, “Veer Das: Out” and “Veer Das: Landing”, who won him an international ami for the best comedy series.
He has acted in films like “crook company”, “Delhi Bailey”, “Go Goa Gone” and “Wedding Side Effects” and also shows like “Whiskey Cavalier”, “Fresh of the Boat”, “Hasmukh” and “Call Me Ba”.
Das is currently on his ‘Mind Phool’ on a world tour, taking his comedy to 33 countries.
