Telugu superstar Venkatesh Daggubati has given his blessings to newly married actor couple, Naga Chaitanya and Shobhita Dhulipala. Recently, the senior actor shared several pictures from Naga Chaitanya and Shobhita’s wedding ceremony on his Instagram.
In the pictures, she can be seen with Naga Chaitanya and his family as they happily pose for the camera. The first picture shows the senior actor applying black tilak on Naga Chaitanya. One of the pictures also features Venkatesh Daggubati’s nephew, Telugu actor Rana Daggubati.
Venkatesh Daggubati wrote in the caption, “Celebrating love, happiness and family #SoChay”.

Earlier, Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala visited Sri Bhramaramba Mallikarjuna Swamy Temple in Andhra Pradesh. The couple was also accompanied by Telugu megastar and Naga Chaitanya’s father Nagarjuna.
While Naga Chaitanya wore the traditional white pancha, his wife chose a yellow saree. Nagarjuna wore a kurta and pajama during the appearance.
Naga Chaitanya and Shobhita Dhulipala’s wedding took place with great pomp in Hyderabad. The event was attended by stalwarts of the Telugu industry. Naga Chaitanya paid tribute to his grandfather, the famous Akkineni Nageswara Rao, during his wedding ceremony by wearing a traditional outfit called ‘Panch’, reminiscent of his grandfather’s timeless style.
Shobhita Dhulipala also wore her mother and grandmother’s traditional jewelery for the ‘Rata ceremony’. The Raata ceremony is an important pre-wedding ritual in many Telugu traditions. This is an important step before the bride is officially married. During this event, a bamboo stick is planted with the leaves of mango, jamun, and jammi trees, which is then worshiped with sacred ingredients like Panch Loha, Navratan (nine gems), and Navadhanya (nine grains).
A sacred potli (bag) is tied to the pillar, and prayers are offered to the Panch Bhootas (five elements) and the deities of all eight directions. It is believed that this ritual purifies and blesses the bride before her journey into married life.
Naga Chaitanya’s first marriage was with actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu. Both of them got married in 2017. However, the couple announced their separation in 2021 after 4 years.
