Venus Theatre Group from Mumbai is in Hyderabad to stage two Hindi plays. The egg shell and inspiration. The play, put on by Meera Charitable Trust to raise funds for cancer, has already had two shows on August 15 and will be staged by SnehaArts at Rangabhoomi and Bhaskar Auditorium in Sainikpuri over the weekend.

Hemendra Singh Rajawat, co-founder of Venus who plays the lead actor in it egg shell He said the stories in the plays are diverse and their message is entertainment and reflection.
Written by Mohan Rakesh and directed by Shaunak Date, of the egg… A heartwarming comedy that is the story of a family that has complications but its members share a lovely bond. The young members of the family have hidden some secrets from their parents and when the secrets come out due to some mess, the scenes create humour through a situational comedy.
Ilham, Directed by Hemendra, the play means ‘enlightenment’ in Hindi. The play is full of humour. “The story of this play highlights the journey of a person, his constant struggle about who he is and what society thinks of him,” says Hemendra. The play promises to provide the audience with a thought-provoking experience that will make them contemplate the core of reality.

This is the theatre group’s first show in Hyderabad; the six-month-old theatre group from Mumbai has done eight productions so far and has recently started short-film making as well
