Veteran Kannada actor Bank Janardan passes through, former Karnataka CM Basavaraj S Bomai Payed Payment among others

New Delhi: Bank Janardan, veteran Kannada comedy actor, who showed in popular serials such as Papa Pandu and Robo family, breathed his last on Sunday night, 13 April, 2025. The 76 -year -old actor died due to issues related to the age.

Over 500 films and television shows were celebrated for their roles, the Janardan was a well -funded name in the entertainment world.

PTI quoted his son Guru, saying that veteran actors were not keeping well for the last twenty days and were hospitalized. He recovered in the middle and came home, but had to be hospitalized again on Friday as he complained of breathing issues.

Former Chief Minister and current BJP MP Basavraj S. Bomai took to his X profile, mourning the loss of the actor, he wrote, “I am deeply saddened to listen to the news of Kannada film comedian bank Janardana being passed. He was a domestic name as a comedian, who was working in more than 500 films. The misery of his passing soul and the passing soul was working in more than 500 films.

Union Minister HD Kumaraswamy expressed grief over the death of the Kannada actor, “It was very sad that I heard the news of the passage of an experienced actor of the Kannada film industry, Mr. Bank Janardan, who acted in more than five hundred films. There is a great disadvantage for our film industry.

In the Kannada industry, Bank Janardan depicted both humor and ancestral characters during his career over forty years.

With roles in classic films like ShH, TARLE NAN MAGA, Belliappa Bangarappa and many others, she left a permanent impression on both big and small screens. His death has left a zero place which will be difficult to fill.
