The iconic actor Rakhi Gulzar, who plays the role of a mother in the upcoming Bengali film ‘Aamar Boss’, is actually a director’s actor, “said by filmmaker Nandita Roy on Saturday.
‘Amar Boss’ tells the story of a complex relationship between a mother and her son.
Shiboprosad Mukhopadhyay, who also co-directions the film, depicts Animesh Goswami, head of a publication startup and a dedicated, careful son.

Roy told PTI, “Rakhiji is suitable for the role. When I wrote the script, I could see her in front of my eyes. So, I wanted him to stay there for the film,” Roy told PTI.
