She said that she always celebrated her body and since she was going through a body transformation, she made the different stages public. “It was a health problem that forced me to choose this path, but now it has made me a candidate to play roles demanding a light physique.” He denied that his pursuit of comedy was related to the doctor’s prescription. “The current stage may also change,” she adds, “but she’s glad she never let her size hold her back from owning herself and living her dream.”

On her equation as an actor with her producer husband Siddharth Roy Kapur, Vidya Balan said that they discussed each other’s work but did not encroach on each other’s territory. “I am not interested in becoming a producer. I believe that people should continue to do what they know best. The desire to do a lot of things is the reason for the growing mediocrity around us,” she said.
