Ibrahim Ali Khan, son of Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh, made her acting debut in the Netflix original film. NadaniyanaThe actor, along with his co-star Khushi Kapoor, received the major backlash for his poor performance in the film.
Amid criticism of criticism, filmmaker Vikram Bhatt set out to protect young actors.
In conversation Galata indiaVikram Bhatt said, “I am not able to understand trolling that the film is facing on social media because I like both the major actors- Khushi and Ibrahim I like Ibrahim, this is a different case.
In the defense of Ibrahim Ali Khan, Vikram Bhatt said, “This is his first film. Who makes his first film spectacular? Her appearance in front of her camera, you can tell that she knows acting. Therefore, I am saddened by this whole thing.”
He said, “I did not find any problem in his acting. The film was not the type I would see, but I am not even a spectator for this film. It is for General Z and teenagers. As a director, I got Ibrahim and Khushi Good.”
Vikram Bhatt also addressed comparisons between Ibrahim and his father and actor Saif Ali Khan.
He said, “This will happen. Ibrahim also looks like Saif, so how will you not compare? But he proves himself with that comparison. I think he is equal to Saif and better than Saif’s performance in his first films. I can give you to write that Ibrahim will be a big star.”
For unknown people, Saif Ali Khan made her Bollywood debut with Yash Chopra Parampara In 1993. The film featured Sunil Dutt, Vinod Khanna, Aamir Khan, Neelam Kothari, Raveena Tandon, Ashwini Bhave, Ramya Krishna and Anupam Kher. It marked the big Bollywood debut of both Saif Ali Khan and Ramya Krishna.
