Singer Rahul Vaidya has found himself at the center of controversy, when he excavated in cricketer Virat Kohli, for her explanation for her clarification about liking a picture of actress Avneet Kaur on social media.
Rahul also called Kohli’s fans, allegedly called him and his family to target “Do Kaudi’s Jokers”.
In response to Rahul’s comment, Virat Kohli’s brother, Vikas Kohli, came out to protect the cricketer. In a post on Threads, he wrote, “Bache itany hard work if Aphney probably sang Pai Karle as his Mehntaut C and said …. While the whole nation focuses on the current situation of what is going on … It is on a mission to achieve stupid followers and to be famous, is the name of Virat …. Is there a necklace (SIC).
Rahul Vaidya soon came to know about Vikas’s statement after sharing a video, in which he referred to Kohli as a “clown” and claimed that the cricketer blocked him on Instagram.
Subsequently, Kohli’s fans resorted to social media to protect the cricketer. Reacting to backlash, Rahul wrote on his Instagram story, “Virat Kohli’s fans are bigger clowns than Virat! And now you are abusing me that this is fine, but you are abusing my wife’s sister.
In another video, Rahul said, “So, friends, Virat Kohli has blocked me, you all know. So I think he will also be a glitch of Instagram, that Virat Kohli will not have a block. He said to Virat Kohli, ‘I will block Rahul Vaidya on your behalf)?
Speaking to Zoom, Rahul further clarified his stance, saying, “Virat Kohli has blocked me for some reason.
He continued, “Finally, fans started abusing me. Therefore, I had to give an answer by putting a simple situation, in which I called them ‘Joker’ instead of using bad words. Now, I am being trolled; my wife and sister are being trolled. They have been abused by my mother and sister. It is very common.
