Actor Vishnu Manchu shared that a devotee of Kannappa deepened his spiritual discipline and self-awareness.
Asked how to work on “Kanappa” affected his own spiritual or personal journey, Vishnu said to IANS: “Daily introspection while portraying a devotee of Kannappa’s quantitative forces.
He said: “He keeps the discipline ego in check and reminds me why the story matters. I deliberately do more about the decisions that I do on set and closed – because I am taking the weight of a person who never hesitate.”
Bringing a mythological story in life is not a small achievement. What were Vishnu’s biggest creative or emotional challenges?
Pat replied to Vishnu: “Two fronts. Creatively, strikes between the scale and honesty – cannot remove the spectaccal substance.”
He said: “Emotionally, respecting a legend that many holy people mean zero shortcuts: constant consultation with historians, priests and language experts. If we do not acquire their faith, the visuals do not matter.”
