Mumbai: Neha Kakkar addressed a dispute around her Melbourne concert, when recently event organizers alleged that the singer dropped out of the show due to low turnout of only 700 people.
On Tuesday, Neha took her Instagram handle and shared a video from her Melbourne concert, addressing the ongoing controversy. In the clip, he can be heard saying, “Hi, you want to know what happened in the Melbourne show, okay? Let me show you.” The video then cuts the vibrant scenes of the concert, in which Neha performs her chart-topping hits with a shouting crowd dance and singing. Sharing this video, the singer wrote, “Thank you Melbourne!”
Through this post, Neha appeared to dismiss the allegations made by the event organizers, claiming that she refused to perform due to a small crowd.
A few days ago, the Australian event organizers Pace D and Bikram Singh Randhawa pushed behind against the clarification of Neha Kakkar’s Melbourne concert controversy, stating that their version of the incidents was incorrect.
In a recent interview with RJ Siddharth Kannan, he claimed that the singer refused to perform due to a relatively small crowd of around 700 attendees. The organizers reported that Neha was determined for the back-to-back show with the same team-in a Sydney and one in Melbourne. While the Sydney concert attracted a crowd of 1,500 to 2,000 people and moved smoothly, alleged that she was unhappy with Melbourne voting and opted not to go on stage.
The event planners were quoted saying, “The crowd was very angry at him because they were waiting for hours. What I knew from the organizer was that he said that he said that he said that there are only 700 people, so I will not perform until you fill the stadium.”
Responding to allegations about Neha Kakkar’s sound check and lack of unpaid sound engineers, event organizers Pace D and Bikram Singh Randhawa dismissed claims, stating that early works had already performed and all technical arrangements. He also denied his claims about insufficient hospitality, including food, water and absence of housing. The organizers stated that the hotel was already arranged, and several cars were rolled to transport, suggesting that the necessary provisions were actually in place.
Earlier in March, singer Neha Kakkar got involved in controversy after a disturbed concert appearance in Melbourne. She allegedly rushed back from the schedule about three hours, which created disappointment and frustration among the concerts. The delayed crowd, started sowing and called him to leave the stage. The response was emotionally shaken, Neha broke the middle performance.
Subsequently, Neha resorted to social media so that she could present a version of the events. He alleged that the organizers were responsible for the major logical failures, including leaving the site without cleaning their payment. He also claimed that his team was abandoned without basic system, such as housing, food, or even drinking water – he said that he severely impressed the result of the show.
