Mumbai: Superstar Salman Khan has begun shooting for his much-awaited film ‘Sikander’, directed by AR Murugadoss, as new photos from the sets give a glimpse of the ‘muhurat shot’ of the film.
Sajid Nadiadwala’s wife Wardha Nadiadwala shared these exciting updates from the sets of ‘Sikander’ on her X account on Thursday.
In the pictures, Vardha can be seen holding a clapperboard that says ‘Muhurat Shot’ while director AR Murugadoss is seen smiling in the background.

In the tweet, Wardha wrote, “And the action begins today!! Need all your love and blessings. #SajidNadiadwala’s #Sikander directed by @ARMurugadoss releasing in cinemas on Eid 2025.”
Earlier this month, Salman had shared a photo from the sets of the film on Instagram.
In the picture, Salman is wearing a light blue shirt and is smiling looking at the screen nearby.
The film’s producer Sajid Nadiadwala and director Murugadoss can be seen having fun with him. In the film, Salman Khan will share screen space with actress Rashmika Mandanna.
In May, the production house officially announced on their social media handles that Rashmika Mandanna is a part of the film.

Can’t wait to witness her on-screen magic on Eid 2025!” Rashmika also posted on her Instagram Stories, “You guys have been asking me about the next update for a long time and here it is. Surprise!! ‘Sikander’ brings together the duo of Salman Khan and Sajid Nadiadwala again after their previous successful films ‘Kick’, ‘Judwaa’ and ‘Mujhse Shaadi Karogi’.
The film will hit the theatres on Eid 2025.
