Was not due to creative differences … Paresh Rawal breaks the silence when he gets out of Hera Ferri 3

Mumbai: Veteran actor Paresh Rawal has officially confirmed his exit from ‘Hera Feri 3’ via a post on X (East Twitter), dear Bollywood comedy franchise has stepped away from the upcoming installment of ‘Hera Pheri’.

The actor’s departure sent waves to social media, where fans have been vocal about his disappointment since then.

Earlier this year, director Priyadarshan confirmed that ‘Hera Pheri 3’ was in the works, bringing back the prestigious trio of Akshay Kumar, Sunil Shetty and Paresh Rawal.

However, Rawal announced that he would no longer tell his role as Pyare Babu Bhia shocked and disappointed the fans.

While speculation initially suggested creative differences as the reason behind his decision, Paresh Rawal addressed these rumors in a public statement on Sunday.

He said, “I want to put it on record that my decision to move away from Hera Pheri 3 was not due to creative differences,” he wrote on X, “I repeat that there is no creative disagreement with the filmmaker. I have a lot of love, respect and faith in the film’s director Shri Priyadarshan.”

His position raised more questions among fans, many of which expressed their mistrust on social media and looking for clarity.

One user questioned whether the actor Babu wanted to avoid being typical in the role, while another estimated the potential issues with production.

“What happened then? Are the manufacturers offering less money, or are you bored with playing the same role? Come, Babu Bhiyaya, Hera Ferri will be completely meaningless without one of the three main leads. Please rethink.” A fan asked online, “A user commented.

“You don’t want to get trapped again in Babu Bhia image …?” Another user wrote.

For more than 20 years, Paresh Rawal’s depiction of Baburao Ganpato Apte, with love, has become one of the most permanent and funded comic roles of Indian cinema.

The original ‘Hera Far’ directed by Priyadarshan was released in 2000 and followed by a successful sequel in 2006, directed by Neeraj Vora.

It featured Akshay, Paresh, Sunil, Bipasha Basu, Rajpal Yadav and Rimi Sen in the lead roles.
