Waves Summit 2025: Allu Arjun recalls a career-influential injury: I tore my shoulder rotator phlegm …

Mumbai: Actor Allu Arjun, who received a spotlight worldwide with the success of the film series ‘Pushpa’, attended Waves 2025 at the Jio World Center in Mumbai on Thursday.

During the incident, he talked about the success of ‘Pushpa 2’ and also emphasized the importance of fitness in an actor’s life.

The actor thanked the Government of India for organizing the wave summit 2025 for the entertainment industry.

Talking about his life after the success of ‘Pushpa 2’, Allu Arjun said that he was a regional actor earlier, but now everyone knows about him. “At least everyone now knows my face. I am a regional actor.

The actor has been a large year, making history at the box office with his film ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’. Released in December last year, the film went to break several records.

Directed by Sukumar, the action-drama includes Allu Arjun in the role of Pushpa Raj with Rashmika Mandanna and Fahd Fasil.

The actor has also received the National Award for Best Actor for his performance in ‘Pushpa: The Rise’.

In the session, the actor further shared how he approaches fitness, saying, “It’s about the mindset. In those days, about 20 years ago, … there were a lot of taboo around it … I knew that only one person was needed to break it. Somebody inspired me to say,” I don’t think South actor could come up with six packs. ” One of the actresses I worked with said, and then I took it as a challenge and did it for my people, and I can say that .. ”

“Clearly fitness is a very deep aspect of every actor because you have to dance, especially as an Indian actor, you have to fight, and you don’t know when the schedule can start .. It can start with a song. You see yourself on the big screen and you have millions of people appreciated it,” he said.

Talking about maintaining his versatility as an actor, he said, “Every film is unique, and not every film should repeat itself, but inadvertently we all have patterns, but as much as possible, consciously we should try to remove the patterns that we should try to do something new, some originally.

He also said about an accident, saying, “After the shooting of my tenth film, I had an accident … I had a shoulder rotator cuff tear. And I was very much known for my physical fitness and acrobatics skills, and when I broke my shoulder, I had a little surgery first, and then I was back in three weeks, and then I was within a fourth week, and I said that Australia, and I said that Australia. Have to take

‘Pushpa’ actor continued, “This was a big blow for me because we have to start shooting in two-three months and I did not have that time and it was the most frightened moment because I was doing so much banking on my physical fitness and then it stuck my mind that physical fitness and agility would stop your performance, so I started focusing the tenth film.”
