Mumbai: Actor Shah Rukh Khan once recalled the incident when filmmaker Farah Khan requested to speak to actors Abhishek Bachchan and Naseeruddin Shah’s son Vivaan Shah for harassing her.
In 2014, during a visit to the ‘Happy New Year’ cast on the Kaun Banega Crorepati set, Shah Rukh told Amitabh Bachchan that Farah had expressed her complaints about both of them.
In an old video that surfaced online, Shahrukh can be heard saying in Hindi, “Once she (Farah) complained to me a lot. It said that both Abhishek and Vivaan are troubling me a lot, keeping me distracted, talking and troubling me. ‘They are repeatedly taking my photo and posting it on Twitter’. Abhishek and Vivaan harass her a lot, so you go and talk to them. (Once she complained to me that Abhishek and Vivaan are harassing her, they are distracting, keep chatting, take her pictures and upload on Twitter. They harass me a lot so you go and talk to them) Do it).”
The ‘Dilwale’ actor said, “I said no, Farah has children, man, this is not the case, it will happen.” ‘No, I am very angry today. You go and talk’. So sir, I reached there with all my heart tightened…I started speaking and then it came to my mind that Abhishek Bachchan’s daddy is Mr. Amitabh Bachchan. Then it came that Vivaan’s daddy is Mr. Naseeruddin Shah. Then it came to my mind that if their father could not teach them, then what would I teach them? (“I said, ‘No, Farrah, they’re just kids, it’s not like that, it’ll be fine.’ But she said, ‘No, I’m very angry today. You go and talk to them.'”
So sir, I went there with determination… I started speaking and then it occurred to me that Abhishek Bachchan’s father is Mr. Amitabh Bachchan. Then I realized that Vivaan’s father is Mr. Naseeruddin Shah. And then it occurred to me that if their father couldn’t teach them, what can I teach them?”
Meanwhile, Shahrukh was last seen in Rajkumar Hirani’s film “Dunky”. The film also starred Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal and Boman Irani. His upcoming projects include “King” and “Pathan 2”.
