When Manoj Kumar filed allegations of defamation against Shah Rukh Khan, demanded compensation of Rs 100 crore

Shah Rukh apologized for harming the experienced actor’s spirit. He told reporters, “I was completely wrong … If he is hurt, I apologize. I called him in the afternoon, and the first thing he told me, is’ it’s not a big deal, son.”

The actor said, “People do parodi … this is a work done. I should have taken care of it … I should have called him first (to tell him about Spuf).”

In 2007, Manoj Kumar’s lawyer Mukesh Vashi said in a statement, “Manoj Kumar is angry with a certain sequence in the film, and asked me if any legal action is possible. However, I have not seen the film myself. So, I will be able to give advice only after watching it.”

He said, “Manoj Kumar was made by the Indian audience in an icon … that icon has been injured, it has been mocked … A moral action is more important than a legal action.”

But the episode did not end in 2007 and revived in 2013. Om Shanti Om The scene was re -released in Japan with objections with Manoj Kumar.

This time, the film’s experienced sought legal help and filed a case against Shah Rukh and Eros International. He sought a loss of Rs 100 crore to release the film in Japan without removing the “objectionable” scene.

His lawyer said, “He (Shah Rukh Khan) had previously promised Manoj Kumar, but reiterated the mistake again in Japan … there was no personal apology by SRK … he is not in the mood of any settlement.”

Mr. Kumar did not hide his disappointment back and told the media, “The film was released in Japan without removing those scenes. I forgive him twice, but not this time. He has humiliated me. They also face contempt of court in 2008 as the court removed them forever and all the prints and broadcasting materials.”

After a long battle, Manoj Kumar withdrew the matters as he believed that legal processes failed to trigger the spirit of responsibility between Shahrukh and Farah Khan.

Manoj Kumar, known for his roles in patriotic films like Manoj Kumar Purba and Paschim And Revolution, He died at the age of 87 in Mumbai. Mr. Kumar was admitted to Kokilaben Dhirubai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai, where he died at 3:30 am on Friday due to heart -related complications.

According to the medical certificate issued by the hospital, the secondary cause of death is disintegrated by liver cirrhosis.
