Television’s favorite comedy judge Archana Puran Singh has been happily married to film and television actor Parmeet Sethi for many years. Most of Bollywood is located in Juhu, Bandra or Khar area of Mumbai. But Archana has been living in Mud Island with her family for many years, since her children were small.

“I got a pretty cheap deal at the time, so I bought it,” he said.
“Parmeet is someone who was used to living in flats like any other Bombay person and I was someone who grew up in a bungalow in Dehradun. You have big houses in small towns. I was very clear about it ‘If you want to buy a bungalow, it can’t have just three rooms, if you don’t have at least six-seven spacious rooms, it’s not even a bungalow,’ she shared.
How did Parmeet react to this?
“He was like, ‘Look, if you’re talking about buying one, I’ll allow it. Then he said, if you’re planning on getting two I’m divorcing you,'” she joked. shared.
“I was like, ‘I don’t care whether you divorce me or not, I’m buying a bungalow.’ When he saw I was serious enough about it, he said, ‘Okay, okay, let’s buy it,'” she added.
Parmeet reveals how the quiet space at home ultimately changed his mind.
“Initially I was really against it. Eventually when I started designing it, I started liking it. What added to it was that the journey back home from work was very peaceful and relaxing. I felt I thought, I can do this every day and not just on the weekends,” he said.
Parmeet further added, “We had decided that we will give it six months time and see how it works for us and then take a long-term decision.”
