Many years ago, Shatrughan Sinha had also criticized Mukesh Khanna for constantly taking a dig at Sonakshi Sinha for her mistakes in KBC. Shatrughan Sinha told Bollywood Hungama, though without naming Mukesh Khanna, “I believe Sonakshi has a problem with not answering a question on Ramayana to anyone. First of all this person should be given all the information related to Ramayana. What qualifies one to be an expert on things? And who has appointed him as the guardian of Hinduism?”
Mr Sinha said, “I am very proud of my three children. Sonakshi became a star on her own. I never had to launch her career. She is a daughter any father would be proud of. A question on Ramayana Not answering.” ”Sonakshi cannot be disqualified for being a good Hindu, she does not need a certificate of approval from anyone.”
Following Mukesh Khanna’s recent comment, Sonakshi Sinha wrote a detailed note on her Instagram stories on December 16 announcing her disapproval.
Sonakshi wrote that she “went blank” on the show and she “respectfully” requested the Mahabharat actor to “forget” the incident, which he keeps touching on publicly, “to get back in the news”.
An excerpt from his note read, “Dear Sir, Mukesh Khanna ji… I have recently read a statement from you saying that it is my father’s fault I asked a question about Ramayana in a show. In which I participated many years ago, let me remind you that there were two women in the hot seat that day who did not know the answer to the same question, but you continued to take my name , and only my name, for reasons that are quite obvious Are.”
In 2019, when she was asked on KBC for whom Hanuman had brought Sanjeevani Booti in Ramayana, Sonakshi Sinha could not give the correct answer. Amitabh Bachchan jokingly teased him about his ignorance about the epic.
Speaking to Sidharth Kannan earlier this week, Mukesh Khanna talked about how Shaktimaan (the character played by Mukesh Khanna in the TV show of the same name in the 90s-00s) has to educate today’s generation in his glorious There is a need to be guided to become aware of the past.
Without taking any name, he pointed out Sonakshi’s inability to answer Ramayan question on KBC.
When asked if he was referring to Sonakshi, Mr Khanna said, “Luv Kush is the name of her bungalow. People got angry, ‘She doesn’t know'” [the correct answer]I said it is not Sonakshi’s fault; It’s his father’s fault. Why didn’t you tell your children? Why did you let them become so modern?”
Mukesh Khanna has repeatedly targeted Sonakshi Sinha for her inability to answer the Ramayana question. On the work front, Mukesh Khanna has teased the return of Shaktimaan as ‘today’s generation needs a superhero’.
