Even though their divorce is still ongoing, ET Online reports, citing sources close to the couple, that Jennifer and Ben are working through their issues for the sake of their children. “They all became very close during their relationship and there is still a lot of love there,” the platform quoted a source as saying. The estranged couple reunited last month to attend their children’s back-to-school night and were later spotted on a family outing in Beverly Hills.

The source also told ET Online that another reason the couple is trying to work things out and get a divorce amicably is because they have vested business interests as well as joint assets. The source says, “Jen and Ben are still working on sorting out the properties and projects they had a vested interest in and it’s not like they can cut each other out of each other’s lives so quickly. ” The report cites another source, who says they are working on things with their attorney Laura Wasser and “just want everything to be resolved without any drama.”
