Alaya F, who has been hitting the right notes with her films and style statements, revealed in a recent interview that mom Pooja Bedi did not allow her to watch all her films except one. ETimes. Alaya F told ETimes, “My mother allowed me to watch only one film she has been a part of – Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar. She didn’t let me watch the rest of the films because she was very embarrassed by her work in those films (laughs). Once, on her birthday, I found footage of another film of hers, and she was so embarrassed that we were all laughing.” For your information, let us tell you that Pooja Bedi has worked in films like The one who won was Alexander (1992), Looters And I recall your story again (1993).
Earlier, in an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Alaya F spoke about Pooja Bedi’s divorce and how she takes the word ‘divorce’ positively, contrary to popular opinion. She said, “My parents were going separate ways but I used to see them all the time, they were very friendly with each other. To this day, they are very good friends. My mother attended my father’s second wedding. I am extremely close to my stepmother. My stepbrother, who I hate even calling stepbrother because he is my brother, we have the same father and different mothers, is a piece of my heart, my child. So I can’t imagine a life where my parents stayed together.”
