With love, Meghan: Meghan Markle announces new lifestyle show

Los Angeles: Almost five years after making her presence felt on Instagram, Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle has now surprised her fans by announcing her own lifestyle show.

The Netflix show titled ‘With Love, Meghan’ will be released on January 15.

Producers also unveiled the show’s trailer, which shows Markle relaxing at home with friends, cooking meals and sharing all kinds of housewife tips.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, in the footage, Markle cooks a vegetable platter, a multilayer cake and some focaccia bread while she gathers honey and praises while hosting famous friends (like Roy Choi, Mindy Kaling and Alice Waters). Laughs politely.

Meghan’s husband Prince Harry also made an appearance at the end of the trailer.

Meghan shared the link to the trailer on Instagram, writing, “I’m so excited to share this with you! I hope you love the show as much as I loved making it. Wish you all a wonderful New Year.” Good luck! Thanks to our amazing team.” And team @Netflix. So grateful for the support – and as always, Meghan!

On January 1, marking the arrival of 2025, Meghan launched her own Instagram account with the username @meghan. Her first post is a black-and-white video of her at the beach.

In the video, she can be seen smiling and running back off-camera, writing “2025” on the sand. He also updated his profile picture with a black-and-white shot of him smiling.

According to People, this update comes more than two years after Meghan hinted she was returning to Instagram in a conversation with The Cut. “do you want to know A Secret?” he said in a wide-ranging interview published in August 2022.

“I’m coming back to Instagram.” Although Meghan said later in the interview that she was no longer sure if she would actually return to Instagram, she has maintained a presence on the platform in the past. Before she married Prince Harry in 2018, the Suits star had 3 million followers on her eponymous Instagram account, as well as lifestyle blog The Tig.

According to PEOPLE, she shut down her beloved blog in April 2017, just months before she and Harry’s engagement, and deleted her social media pages the following January. Meghan and Harry launched a separate Instagram page, @SussexRoyal, where they shared their own updates separate from those of William and Kate.

The @SussexRoyal Instagram account stopped updating after the couple stepped back from their royal roles in 2020.

The page remains online, although comments have since been disabled. That April, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex launched The Archewell Foundation, the non-profit arm of their larger Archewell organization, which will include Archewell Audio and Archewell Productions, their production hubs.
