The producers of actor Pradeep Ranganathan’s upcoming Pan-Indian film declared the title of the film as ‘Dude’ on Saturday. Directed by Kerathisavaran, the film will feature Mamita Baiju, who is the best female lead for her performance in the Malayalam superhit film Premlu.
Pradeep Ranganathan, who is distributing back-to-back successes with his latest offering, ‘Dragon’, is going to emerge an unprecedented blockbuster, currently working on this Pan India venture that is being produced by the Mythri filmmakers.
The film was being temporarily referred to as PR04. Apart from Pradeep Ranganathan and Mamita Baiju, senior actor Sarath Kumar will also be included in an important role in the film. The producers officially unveiled the film’s title on Saturday and also released its striking first look.

Under the title ‘Dude’, Pradeep Ranganathan is in an acute avatar in the first look poster, marked with injury and his expression is filled with grit, as he holds a mangalsutra in his hand. As the title and first look shows the poster, the man is taking shape as a complete entertainer with a modern twist. The film is ready to hit the screen for Deepawali this year, which aims to lighten the festive season.
Mythri filmmakers have brought a dynamic crew of emerging talent together for their upcoming bilingual film. The music front is leading the fast growing composer Sai Abyankkar, while the film’s visual aesthetics is assigned to the capable hands of cinematographer Nikheth Bomi. Barath is the editor of Vikramana film. Already with production on full swing, the team is working at a fast pace to offer a proper entertainment for Deepawali.
‘Dost’ is to be released in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi languages. Apart from Pradeep Ranganathan, Sarath Kumar and Mamita Baiju, the film will also include a host of stars including Rohini Moleti, Hiridhu Aaron and Dravid Selvam among others.
Anil Yerneni will be an executive producer for this film, which will be Poonima Ramaswamy as its costume designer.
