Streaming giant Netflix on Tuesday released the trailer of its upcoming documentary film. Yo Yo Honey Singh: FamousWhich narrates the journey of the titular iconic musical sensation. Directed by Mozez Singh and produced by Sikhya Entertainment, the documentary will premiere on Netflix on December 20.
In the trailer, we see how a boy from a simple Punjabi background became one of the most popular Indian rappers, and took Punjabi music to the global stage. With the help of personal accounts from friends, family, colleagues and associates (including one Salman Khan), the documentary uncovers the layers of Honey Singh’s life and exposes the man behind the English beats and controversies.
