ZEE Samvad 2026 with Real Heroes: The fourth edition of Zee Real Heroes Awards is being held at the Fairmont Mumbai. Conducting session with Bollywood musical duo – Mithun Sharma and Palak Muchhal, popular lyricist and writer Manoj Muntashir Welcomed the guests and opened up on many things – personal and professional respectively – in a candid conversation.

When Mithun was asked about his successful romantic songs, he said, “Love is close to my heart… I think it is close to everyone’s heart.” He opened up about how not everyone is as polished as Muntashir… and then he revealed how the collaboration on Border 2 made him realize about a different kind of love.
He further added, “I got a window through Borderlands 2 to learn more about the lives of soldiers in the armed forces. We (Mithun and Muntashir) were talking about their sacrifices.”
Adding, “With that knowledge I understood what real love means. After doing Border 2, I felt that this love is real love.”
From borderlands 2 collaboration And along with the heartfelt moments, Muntashir also asked the couple about their secret wedding. Asking Palak and Mithun about their relationship, he said that before marriage you both used to work together but after marriage you hardly work together – why so. He further said, thankfully you guys worked again in Border 2.
On this Palak said, ‘I am very happy to be sitting with you, Real Hero is a very responsible title. There is absolutely no interference in our relationship in music. When Mithun feels that his music needs my voice, he sings. It’s a pleasure to sing for them.”
She also said that everyone knows about my heart’s mission – “Whenever I do concerts, the money earned from it is completely spent on heart surgeries for underprivileged children who are ill. I always wanted to marry a guy who would understand this cause and would not interfere with my mission – thankfully, Mithun supports me not only in music but also in my mission.”
Talking about their relationship, Mithun said, “The secret thing is new. There is a saying ‘The best way to not tell people what you are doing is not to do it’ and we unknowingly followed it. Actually, I had messaged Palak, although we had worked in 3-4 songs, but we never talked. I asked her in the message about marriage and there was no dating. She replied that if you want to meet me. If so, you will have to meet my mother.”
Manoj Muntashir clearly asked, ‘Whose rule is in the house’, to which he quipped, ‘My rule is in the house and I act according to them.’
Palak and Mithun were honored at the event and received the Sur-Global Philanthropy and Sound of Legacy-Musical Innovation awards by Zee Media Corporation CEO Raktim Das and Gallant Group CEO Mayank Agarwal.
