There were many funny moments in this zootopia 2Proving that patience is definitely a virtue, as we had to wait seven years for the follow-up to the 2016 Oscar winner.
There are some visual satires, including police officers saying “lay the nails” and porcupine swings, and clever puns like burning mammal festivals, pina koalas, and the evil Dawn Bellwether (Jenny Slate), who resembles a certain sophisticated psychiatrist with a fondness for a good Chianti and fava beans.
Then there are all the animal words, from a pair of zebras named Zebros and Captain Hogbottom to a tactile sea lion and a sloth named Flash (Raymond S. Percy). Arctic sly mob boss who sounds like Don Corleone and star wars The cantina entertainment (complete with stepping on the tail) is bound to elicit laughs.

Story: Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde uncover a huge conspiracy about the origins of Zootopia
The animation is dazzling in creating the eye-popping world and chase sequences – the escape through the water slide is breathtaking. Like the previous film, the sequel, written and co-directed by Jared Bush (who wrote the first film) makes a strong case for inclusivity and not judging a book by its cover.
Set a week after the events of the first film, Officers Judy Hopps (Ginnifer Goodwin) and Nick Wilde (Jason Bateman) are frustrated when their Chief Bogo (Idris Elba) tells them that, because they are new, they can only be observers as the experienced cops, including Razorback Captain Hogbottom (Michelle Gomez) and Truffler (David Fenn), Zebros and hippopotamus Bloats (Stephanie Are. Beatriz) and Higgins (Wilmer Valderrama) kill a smuggler at the docks.
Judy’s attempts to catch the smuggler result in all sorts of disaster and Bogo issues both of them an ultimatum. Desperate to make good, and following a clue from the docks, Judy and Nick crash the posh ZooTennial Gala to honor Zootopia founder Ebenezer Linksley, who patented weather walls that allow mammals from every weather system to co-exist.

Judy’s discovery of snake skin indicates the presence of reptiles. As the two dig deeper into the Marsh Market in search of the Pit Viper, Gary D’Snake (Ke Hui Kwan), who has stolen the journal describing the construction of the weather wall, the two uncover more secrets and lies.
Judy and Nick are helped by Nibbles Maplestick (Fortune Feemster), a podcaster and conspiracy theorist (the two seem to go together), Beaver, a basilisk, Jesus (Danny Trejo), and Pobert (Andy Samberg), a lynx desperate to win the favor of his autocratic father Milton (David Strathairn) and brother Catrick (Macaulay Culkin).
Stars from the previous film reprise their roles, including Shakira as Gazelle. Coincidentally, Shakira’s track at the Burning Mammal festival, “Zoo”, is right to the point of toe-tapping.
With non-stop action, bright colors and smart repartee, in addition to warmth and sharp social commentary, zootopia 2 This utopia is just what is needed for these struggling times. And if you’re not in the mood for a philosophy lesson, Mayor Brian Winddancer (Patrick Warburton) is always tossing his mane in the approved manner of a stallion superstar.
