Zubine Passes Garg: Demise thousands of condolences in Bhogeshwar Barua Complex

Guwahati: Thousands of emotional fans Arjun Bhogeshwar gathered at Assam’s popular singer Zubeen Garg to pay their final honors here at the Sports Complex, who died in Singapore on Friday.

The mortal remains of the late singer are currently placed in Bhogesawar Baruah Sports Complex for their fans and well -wishers before their funeral.

Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma announced that the remains of the singer would be placed in the Arjun Bhogeshwar Baruah Sports Complex in Sarusajai, fans reached the venue to pay their final honors.

The fans cried inconsistently while offering flowers to the mortal remains of the zubine Garg.

One of the fans called the singer’s death as “great disadvantage to Assam”, paying his final honor.

“He is one of the celebrities who are evergreen. We do not see a person coming under the line again. When I was in class 6 or 7, we used to listen to his songs. We are going to remember those feelings. It’s a lot of disadvantage for Assam,” said one of the singer’s fans while talking to ANI.

Another fan of the singer, Sumita Bhuan, found herself in a disadvantage to words on the tragic demise of the singer. Talking to Annie, Sumita said, “I have nothing to say, I have no words.”

Rahul, a fan, called Zubine Garg called “legend” for all generations. “Many people loved him. The love he had for people was true. It was not just to show. It was real, and everyone who has come to him. The population of Assam knows it. You who are looking around us, they came only for him. It is a rare vision. It was a legend for all generations.”

After an unexpected polling at the venue, CM Himant Biswa Sarma announced that the Bogeshwar Barua Stadium would be open throughout the night, which was first slate by 7 pm.

Taking his X handle, CM Sarma said, “More and more people want to see our beloved zubine last time, and we understand these emotions deeply. Therefore, Bhogeshwar Barua Stadium will be open to pay his honor to Zubeen in a tonight.

Meanwhile, the Assam government has announced a three -day state mourning in view of the death of singer Zubeen Garg. The Assam CMO said that there will be no official entertainment, formal program or public function during this period.

A 52 -year -old Icon from Assam died on Friday after a swimming accident. His body was flown in Delhi and later taken to Assam on a commercial flight to Guwahati on Sunday morning.

Garg was in Singapore for the Northeast India Festival. The organizers of the festival also issued a statement, stating that Zubine Garg had difficulty breathing during scuba diving.

The statement said, “He was immediately given a CPR before going to the General Hospital in Singapore. Despite his efforts to save him, he was declared dead at the ICU around 2:30 pm.”

This news has sent a shockwave all over the country, which has a tribute on sensation and social media.

Known as the cultural icon of Assam, Zubeen Garg was not only a singer, but also a musician, music director, actor and filmmaker. With a career spread over three decades, he lent thousands of songs in Assamese, Hindi, Bengali and many other Indian languages.
