Taylor Swift is adding a new song to her post-marriage chapter. The singer has announced that her latest single, Patient Zerowill arrive on September 25, giving fans new music just days before taking the stage at the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards.
Taylor Swift shared the news on Instagram on September 22, saying that she was looking forward to the announcement. “I can’t wait to tell you that my brand new single ‘Patient ZeroWill be out on September 25th (!!!!!!!!!!!!)” she wrote alongside a new picture of herself.
The song is already available for pre-order on Swift’s website, with fans also getting acoustic and piano versions. Alternate versions come with different cover art, with the piano edition featuring Taylor Swift displaying her engagement ring.
The announcement comes at an interesting point in Taylor Swift’s personal and professional life. She married NFL star Travis Kelce on July 3 at Madison Square Garden in New York City. The wedding was attended by nearly 1,000 guests and featured many personal touches, including self-written vows and a ceremony officiated by Adam Sandler.
