Ajay Devgn was all set for a grand comeback when Kapil Sharma revealed his ties to Goa The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 5. What started with Kapil joking about Ajay’s on-again, off-again relationship with Raj soon turned into a reference to the comedian’s past with alcohol, leaving Kapil to fend for himself.
Ajay made a promotional appearance on the Netflix show along with Shriya Saran, Jaideep Ahlawat, Ishita Dutta and Mrunal Jadhav. Drishyam: Conclusion. During the conversation, Kapil told how Goa has been a part of many films in the past, including Golmal, Singham And vision Franchise.
Kapil also said that the trailer Drishyam: Conclusion It was launched in Goa. He then tried to explain to Ajay if his love for Raj had anything to do with its food and drink.
“Most of Devgan’s films, Golmal, Singham, DrishyamAll of them have been shot in Goa. Actually, the trailer Drishyam: Conclusionwas released in Goa,” Kapil said.
He followed it up with a question about Goan’s famous feni and seafood.
“So, some people have this question, it’s not my question, ‘Do you really think Goa is beautiful or do you believe you can’t find good feni anywhere else or Pomfret is cheaper there? What is the reason for that?'” he asked.
However, Ajay did not play along for long. He simply said, “Goa is very comfortable, and I don’t drink feni,” he replied.
Kapil then suggested that Ajay could still take Feni for someone else, giving the actor the perfect opening to turn the joke around.
Ajay reminds Kapil of his past and says,I have done very bad things for the first time in my life, remember that.Ajay snapped.
Kapil rejected this suggestion saying, “I didn’t drink fennel“While Archana Puran Singh added the joke. She told him, “If you get something for free, you will drink it.” he joked.
The talk of Goa continued as Kapil joked about paying Ajay to travel to a place where tourists usually spend a lot of money. He also talked about the food and places associated with Goa, including pav bhaji vision.
Ajay’s reference to Kapil’s drinking past also ties in with something the comedian has spoken about publicly. In his 2022 stand-up special I’m not done yetKapil spoke about a time when he drank heavily and recalled posting a sarcastic tweet targeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Kapil tweeted, “Are these your good days? @NARENDRAMODI”, before later discussing the incident and the reaction he received in his stand-up special.
During this time Drishyam: Conclusion All set to bring the franchise to its final chapter. The film is going to release on October 2.
