Director Venkat Prabhu talks about his alleged fight with Sivakarthikeyan over a shielding film. The director’s comments came after his father, Gangai Amaran, criticized an unknown star actor for ruining Venkat’s dates and delaying his upcoming project.
Venkat Prabhu posted an official clarification on the matter on Monday. On X, he clarified that his project with Sivakarthikeyan has been cancelled. However, there are no hard feelings.
“SK has always been a dear friend/brother to me. There are a lot of speculations and controversies going on. As a father, when a film involving your own son gets delayed, frustration is natural. He probably doesn’t know the whole picture, and I can’t blame him for that,” he wrote.
He added, “I am a very quiet person when it comes to my work and do not discuss my professional matters in detail with anyone, including him.”
Citing the reason for the stalled project, he added, “The project couldn’t take off due to various reasons. That’s it. No hard feelings. If the time comes and a good script comes my way, I’d love to work with SK again. So please, let’s put all this on hold. I’m busy with my next work. All the best to my brother.” Zion“

Venkat Prabhu is reportedly working on casting and finalizing his next directorial venture. However, no official update has been announced yet.
On the other hand, Sivakarthikeyan will be seen in the next film Zion. The film also stars Raj B Shetty, Seeman, Bala Saravanan, Aruldos, Singampuli and Raichal Rabeka along with Bhagyashree Borse in lead roles.
