Ajay is under the leadership of Devgan Dristim 3 It is scheduled to hit the theaters on October 2 with the Gandhi Jayanti holiday.

Days away from its release, the film has already generated tremendous interest at the box office. Trade analysts Ramesh Bala and Sumit Kadel expect the third installment of the popular franchise to open on a strong note.

Opening day forecast

Ramesh Bala told NDTV that Dristim 3 has already recorded advance sales of around Rs.10 crore.

“Advance booking for Dristim 3 Looking very encouraging, the film has so far recorded an advance sale of around Rs 10 crore. Franchise value and strong audience recall are clearly driving the momentum. With more shows and screens opening up closer to the release, bookings should pick up,” said Ramesh Bala.

Meanwhile, Sumit Kadel said that the film’s advance bookings at national chains are particularly strong. He hopes Dristim 3 To surpass Ajay Devgn’s advance booking record Singham again, which sold 2.27 lakh tickets on the first day at PVR INOX and Cinepolis.

“Advance booking for Dristim 3 Due! The film is set to surpass Ajay Devgn’s highest advance bookings across national chains (PVR INOX and Cinepolis) – Singham again, which sold 2.27 lakh tickets for the first day. Dristim 3 This number should be comfortably crossed (reach the 2.50-3L ticket sales mark),” said Sumit Kadel.

The film’s October 2 release also gives it the benefit of a national holiday on Saturday and Sunday.

“Given the current advance booking momentum, I expect Drishyam 3 to aim to open in the Rs 50-55 crore nett range in India. The franchise has a lot to remember, and the October 2 holiday gives it an extra boost. If the advance continues at a brisk pace in the last few days and the spot bookings are also on par, then this film is definitely likely to rise to the level of the film. Kudos to Ajay Dev Be the opening,” Ramesh. Bala added.

Sumit Kadel has given a similar, though slightly wider, projection for the film’s opening day.

“The film is going to emerge as the biggest opener of Ajay Devgn’s career. I expect it to collect at least Rs 45-50 crore on the first day. Considering the high ticket prices and the national holiday release, the opening may also touch Rs 55-60 crore nett mark in India.”

Opening weekend forecast

Both analysts also expect the film to benefit from an extended opening weekend. Ramesh Bala has estimated a collection of Rs 140-160 crores in the first three days, while Sumit Kadel expects a nett of Rs 160-170 crores if the film receives a positive response.

“Dristim 3 Pre-release is picking up great momentum, and I expect the film to target around ₹140-160 crore in India in its opening weekend. Coming on October 2 on a Friday, the film has the benefit of an immediate holiday opening on Saturday and Sunday. If the word of mouth is strong, the strength of the franchise and the curiosity of the audience could push the weekend to the higher end of that range,” said Ramesh Bala.

Sumit Kadel added, “On the weekend, if the film is well-received, it can collect Rs 160-170 crore nett.”

While Dristim 3 Part of the same franchise as Mohanlal’s Malayalam films, Ramesh Bala said its performance will ultimately depend on how audiences respond to the screenplay, performances and the film’s ability to establish its own identity.

“Dristim 3 The franchise can attract a strong audience due to its goodwill and cross-language appeal. Its comparison with the Malayalam original will depend on the screenplay, performances and ability to establish its own identity. A compelling sequel and positive word of mouth could help it match or surpass the original’s dramatic impact, while a holiday release and franchise appeal could ensure a strong debut; Continued box office success will depend on reviews and audience reception.

Sumit Kadel, however, said that the Hindi film is expected to have a much wider theatrical reach than the Malayalam version.

“Compared to the Malayalam version, Dristim 3 It is expected to post huge numbers due to its fairly wide release and large audience base. The story is also completely different from the Malayalam version; It’s not a remake.”

Ajay Devgan, Shreya Saran and Tabu will reprise their roles in it Dristim 3. Jaideep Ahlawat will play SP Crime Branch Rajveer Singh Tomar, who follows Devgan and his family.
