KATSEYE member Lara Raj recently met playback singer Shreya Ghoshal at a recording academy event in Los Angeles. Lara, who has often spoken about her Indian roots and her love for Bollywood music, appeared very excited to meet the singer and did not hold back in expressing her admiration. He fondly called Shreya the “Bollywood Queen”.
Sharing a picture with Shreya on her Instagram Stories, Lara wrote, “I got to speak on a beautiful panel today about South Asians in music with Bollywood Queen Shreya Ghoshal. I’m honored.”
In the photo, Lara was seen cowering with her face covered in her hands, while Shreya lovingly placed her hand on Lara’s head.
Shreya re-shared the post and said, “Lara!!!! Love you! So happy to meet you yesterday. You are so beautiful and amazingly talented.”
This was not Lara’s first meeting with Shreya Ghoshal. Fans quickly pulled out a throwback moment from 2012. Lara met Shreya as a child at an event she attended with her family.
Soon after their latest conversation, Lara and Shreya’s “then and now” pictures started doing the rounds online.

Lara is a member of the Los Angeles-based global girl group, Catseye. The multinational group includes members from the Philippines, South Korea, Switzerland and the United States. It was formed in 2023 after HYBE and Geffen Records’ survival competition finalists, The Debut: Dream Academy, were selected to debut together.
Katsei has since gained worldwide attention with songs touch, gnarly, And gabriella. The group is all set to make its India debut at Lollapalooza India 2027 in Mumbai.
