Jason Sanjay has made his directorial debut with Sandeep Kishan starrer sigma. His father and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay showed support for his son in a special way as the movie hit theaters on October 2. During his road show on Friday, the actor-politician proudly held up a framed picture of Jason from Sigma and showed it to the crowd.
In the video shared online, a party volunteer is seen handing Vijay a framed photograph of his son Jason Sanjay. Vijay took it and lifted it above his head to see the crowd.

While Vijay was in Madhurandhagam for the roadshow, other family members gathered at Kamala Cinema in Chennai for the first show of the first day. sigma.
Jason’s mother, Sangeeta Sornalingam, arrived at the theater and smiled at photographers as she began to enter. His sister Divya Sasha showed her support by wearing black sigma t-shirt Jason was also present at the screening with his family.
However, Vijay could not make it to the screening. Earlier in the day, the Chief Minister had launched a free bus travel program for women in Tamil Nadu as part of his government’s welfare measures before leaving for his election campaign in Madhurandhagam.
Earlier, Jason Sanjay had opened up about how he expects his father’s reaction after watching the film. Speaking to Pearle Maanee, Jason said that Vijay is not someone who reacts immediately and usually takes some time to process what he sees before sharing his thoughts.
“My dad is usually a quiet person. He takes his time. If I ask a question, he will take 10 seconds to answer. I think you need more time to analyze the film. But he will love the film. He will be proud,” he said.
