Archana Puran Singh has always been vocal about her close relationship with her sons, and recently opened up about her younger son Ayushmann Sethi’s relationship with yoga instructor Sameeksha Shetty.
The couple has been together for about a year and a half and Samiksha moved in with the Sethi family a few months ago.
Ayushmann, who recently launched his YouTube channel, has opened up about his relationship with Samiksha in his latest video. The couple also revealed how their love story began and how their relationship evolved over time.
Ayushmann is six years younger than Samiksha. He revealed that the two first met through actress Yogita Bihani, who is engaged to her elder brother Aryaman Sethi. Although they did not immediately see each other romantically, they gradually became closer.
Speaking about their relationship, Archana said that she believes the two are perfect for each other. “I think you guys are the perfect couple. You don’t fight much. You’re calm, she’s calm. You two have such positive vibes. Everyone thinks they’re just made for each other.”
The actor also recalled the advice he gave to Ayushmann when he realized that his relationship with Samiksha was getting serious. She encouraged her son not to think too much about the timing of the relationship if he has found someone he is truly attached to.
“I told you, ‘Aayush, you are serious about her’. Finding a good girl is all about luck, and if you have found a good girl, don’t think about time, or ‘I am not ready’, because she is a really good girl. You have found such a good girl, so you should recognize that goodness and then keep it forever,” he said.
Samiksha recalled that when she first met Ayushmann, she did not initially see him as a potential partner. In fact, she said she “thought of him as a child”.
Their relationship was strengthened when Samiksha faced a medical crisis. Ayushmann stayed by their side during the tough times, which brought them even closer.
