Ramayana: Part I has reportedly locked its theatrical release window in India. The Nitesh Tiwari directorial will pay previews in India on November 4, followed by its official launch on November 5. pinkvilla Report.

Outside India, Australia, New Zealand, Southeast Asia, Middle East, Germany, Rest of Europe and Latin America, the film will open on November 5, the report said. The UK, South Africa and Mauritius are listed for November 6.

China, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan and Hong Kong are yet to receive firm dates. Those markets can either join the global release or opt for a later rollout, according to Pinkvilla. The report also states that these dates are not completely final and may still change as the global release plan is being worked on.

The Ramayana Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi as Goddess Sita and Yash as Ravana. The film is being made as a two-part saga, with the second installment. The Ramayana: Part TwoIt is set to hit the theaters on Diwali 2027.

Behind the scenes video Released by the makers in September, Ranbir spoke about the responsibility of playing Lord Ram. The video also gives a glimpse of her physical transformation for the role and the scale of the film by the team.

Ranbir said, “Lord Ram’s greatest strength is not his bow; it’s his kshama (forgiving nature) – his ability to forgive. Yeh is not a role. It’s not that I’ve been offered a film and the role is exciting. It’s a responsibility.”

He added, “Everything comes down to the faith and simplicity of the person playing the role of Lord Rama. I remind myself every day that my job was not to be worthy of the role. My job was to be worthy of the faith that people put in this story.”

The mythological epic is planned as a two-part film. The Ramayana: Part Two It will release in theaters on Diwali 2027.
