Tej Pratap Yadav has opened up about the problems that led to the breakup of his marriage with Aishwarya Rai. The politician shared his side of the story rise and fall Season 2.

In a conversation with Niharika Tiwari, Tej Pratap talked about their arguments after marriage, the pressure surrounding their marriage and an incident where he caught Aishwarya talking to her ex-boyfriend.

Rashtriya Janata Dal chief Lalu Prasad Yadav’s elder son Tej Pratap said the couple’s differences started within three months of their marriage. She also claimed that they got married under pressure and their differences made it difficult for her to feel comfortable at home.

Recalling the early days of their marriage, Tej Pratap said, “What else were you married? Newly married, married within 3 months. We were young and she, she was young and we got married under pressure. There was a minister at the time – the health minister of Bihar.”

He added that frequent fights sometimes force him to avoid going home. “I didn’t want to go home, sometimes I stayed at a friend’s house, so I never went anywhere.He said.

During the conversation, Tej Pratap also told about their differences in daily life. He claimed that their arguments took place several times in front of his parents and alleged that Aishwarya objected to his morning worship. According to her, he had also asked her to stop performing the ritual as she did not like it.

He further alleged that Aishwarya would attend parties till 4 or 5 am. Speaking about his partying habits, she hinted at smoking and revealed that they had an arranged marriage.

Tej Pratap recalled an incident involving an alleged conversation between Aishwarya and her ex-boyfriend. He claimed that he returned home one evening after attending a legislative session and found her in her bedroom conversing with the man.

Recalling what he saw, Tej Pratap said, “He had gone to the assembly, returned home in the evening, was making an entry to enter the main bedroom, when he was talking to a boy. She had an old boyfriend, she was talking to him a lot, ‘love you’, she was sending him a lot of hearts, she was sending him everything. Gariba seen from the main door“

Tej Pratap also claimed that he had recorded videos of their arguments and presented them as evidence in court.

Tej Pratap Yadav got married to Aishwarya Rai, elder daughter of veteran Bihar politician Chandrika Rai in May 2018. However, within six months the marriage ran into trouble, and Tej Pratap filed for divorce.
