His father, actor Jackie Shroff, was pictured with Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis at the naming ceremony of Mumbai musician Bappi Lahiri Marg on Monday night, a day after Tiger Shroff was attacked on a Mumbai street. Keeping this tradition alive, Jackie Shroff planted a sapling in the ceremony. This is the actor’s first public appearance since Tiger Shroff was shot at close range in Mumbai’s Juhu area on Sunday night.
Three rounds of bullets were fired at Tiger’s car, injuring its driver and an auto driver. The driver was reportedly shot, while the actor escaped unhurt.
According to Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Mohit Garg, Tiger Shroff narrowly escaped being shot at from close quarters while leaving the football club in his car around 7 pm on Sunday.
After news emerged that the actor had been targeted in the firing, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde visited his residence on Sunday night to inquire about his well-being and assure him of the state government’s support.
All Indian Cine Workers Association (AICWA) President Suresh Shyamalal Gupta had written to Union Home Minister Amit Shah regarding the shooting of Tiger Shroff in Juhu area of Mumbai and demanded full security to the actor’s family.
In the letter written to Home Minister Amit Shah, AICWA has also filed several other demands.

▪️ Arrest of the shooters and those who ordered the firing.
▪️ Fast-track prosecution under strict laws.
▪️ A dedicated task force to protect the film industry.

▪️ A permanent end to the fear of gangsters in Bollywood.
▪️ Timely report on action taken.
The Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) has condemned the incident and demanded safety and security for the actor and his family.
“Such acts of violence and intimidation are totally unacceptable and raise serious concerns about the safety and security of personalities associated with the Indian film industry. It is very alarming that this is the second such incident involving a prominent figure in the film industry after the earlier incident of firing on renowned filmmaker Mr. Rohit Shetty.
