In the world of fashion, many times even old clothes leave such an impression in a new style that everyone’s eyes are fixed on them. Bollywood actress Sharvari Wagh’s recent ethnic look is also similar. Before the promotion of her upcoming film ‘Yeh Prem Mol Liya’, Sharvari took out a special saree from her mother’s wardrobe and presented it in a completely new style. The actress created such a stylish look by giving a modern touch to her mother’s old pink Patola saree, which caught attention on social media. The specialty of this outfit is not only its design, but also the emotional story related to it. By wearing this saree, Sharvari also cherished the memories associated with her mother in a special way.

Gave a new style to mother’s Patola saree

The most special part of Sharvari’s look was her mother’s old Patola saree. Beautiful ikat pattern was visible on this magenta and dark pink saree. This saree belonged to her mother, who wore it on many special occasions. Obviously there were many family memories associated with this cloth. Sharvari not only re-worn it like an old dress, but also added some new fashion elements to it while maintaining its traditional look. To make the saree more attractive, heavy golden border, fine embroidery and small mirror work detailing were added to it. These changes gave the saree a more royal look than before. However, its original pink color and traditional Patola design remained the hallmark of the entire outfit. This special look was created by stylist Megan Concecio, while Erth did the work of giving a new look to the saree.

Purple corset blouse with pink saree attracted attention

Sharvari also experimented with something slightly different from the traditional way of wearing this saree. They wrapped the pallu around the waist and dropped down one side, giving the saree a new and stylish silhouette. This draping style gave a modern touch to her entire look. The most interesting change in the outfit was regarding the blouse. While her mother used to wear a matching pink blouse with this saree, Sharvari chose a deep purple strapless corset blouse to pair it with. Its fitting created a nice contrast with the flowing look of the saree. The blouse had golden embroidery, floral designs, beads and metallic detailing. This combination of pink saree and purple blouse was making her look traditional as well as glamorous.

Gold jewelery and subtle makeup completed the look.

Sharvari completed her special ethnic look with gold jewellery. She wore a beautiful necklace around her neck, in which crescent shaped designs were visible. Along with this, matching earrings, statement cocktail rings and pink bangles added charm to her look. The golden touch of jewelery was matching well with the embroidery of the saree and blouse. In terms of makeup, the actress chose simplicity instead of experimenting too much. She wore soft eye makeup, light blush, well-groomed eyebrows and muted pink lipstick. At the same time, the hair was kept straight and open by parting it from the middle. Due to this, people’s attention remained on her outfit and jewellery.

The story of this saree is related to mother’s memories

What makes this look of Sharvari special is the emotional story related to it. Sharing pictures on Instagram, the actress said that her mother had given her this Patola saree when she watched the film ‘Jhumka Patola’ for the first time. Sharvari called this gift from her mother a blessing for herself. He told that getting such a precious thing of his mother’s made in a new style and wearing it during the promotion of the film was a very special experience for him. Sharvari also shared that she saw her mother in this saree in old pictures and then when her mother saw the new look, her reaction was priceless for the actress. According to Sharvari, wearing this saree was as if she was wrapped in her mother’s love and blessings. The same sentiment was reflected in his Marathi caption that he has been blessed with his mother’s pallu for his further journey.
