According to a report by Variety IndiaThe team is tentatively targeting January 2027 for the show’s return. The publication also learned that the first teaser was expected to be released today, November 1. However, as of 1 PM on Sunday, there has been no official update regarding the teaser.

The upcoming season will see Huma reprise her role as Rani Bharti, a character who has been at the center of the show’s political storyline since its first installment. Although the makers have kept the plot details under wraps, the new season is expected to take the story forward after the events of the previous chapter.

The fifth season has reportedly been shot in various locations including Delhi, Bhopal and Ladakh.
