Inner Sloth Studios has released the trailer for the upcoming film. among us The TV series is delighting fans of the popular social deduction game that gained popularity during the pandemic. The trailer offers a new look at the animated adaptation’s quirky tone and ensemble cast.
The synopsis reads: “ “Your crew members have been replaced by an alien shapeshifter whose goal is to create confusion, damage the ship, and kill everyone aboard. Root out the ‘Imposter’ or fall victim to his murderous intentions.”
Starting with the series’ title theme, the clip introduces us to the crew of the scaled ship. Captain Red, voiced by Randall Park, is seen messing around before being brought to his attention by a command alert, setting the tone for the series’ playful but tense story. Other scenes show Yellow (Debra Wilson) and Brown (Phil Lamarr) preparing a pizza, completely unaware of an impostor lurking behind them.
The voice cast also includes Dan Stevens as the poetic Dr. Blue, Liv Hewson as the stoic geologist Black, and Kimiko Glenn as the crystal-healing gemologist Cyan.
Elijah Wood plays the hapless unpaid intern named Green, Ashley Johnson plays the suspicious security head named Purple, while Yvette Nicole Brown’s Orange is the HR head. Patton Oswalt voices the contest winner White, while Wayne Knight plays the ship’s engineer Lime.
