Similarly, ED sources said that summons had also been sent to actress Urvashi Rautela.
Rautela will have to appear at Ed’s Delhi headquarters on 16 September.
Former Indian cricketer Shikhar Dhawan also faced Ed inquiry regarding the alleged money laundering associated with the “unauthorized” gaming app in the advertisement.
The official said the former Team India opener was called by the investigating agency to get clarity with an app named 1xbet on its advertising contract. After appearing before ED officials in the national capital, Dhawan allegedly faced grilling hours.
Apart from Dhawan, former cricketer Suresh Raina was also recently questioned by the ED in the 1xbet case.
Dhawan, who owns the South Delhi Superstars team in the Delhi Premier League, retired from all forms in August in August last year after a career of more than a decade.
The 1xbet India website claims that the company offers its registered users several sports betting options. This aviator game lists games like online, cricket betting line and online casino slot and accepts stakes through telegram payments on sports incidents such as football, basketball, cricket, tennis and e-sport.
The company’s company is headquartered in Cyprus and one of the largest online casinos. The company is known for football teams sponsored in Spain and France. After investigating alleged financial wrongdoings, the company was forced to withdraw services from UK, US, Russia, Spain and France.

The alleged controversy over Dhawan’s cooperation with an illegal app comes close to the storm raised by the Mahadev Satta app last year, which was planted in celebrities like actors Ranbir Kapoor, Boman Irani, Hina Khan and Shraddha Kapoor.
The ED launched an investigation against the app after a grand reception given by one of the founders of the gambling platform in the UAE. The investigation also lids the Havildar racket worth Rs 5,000 crore operating in UAE and Pakistan.
Last month, Parliament passed the promotion and regulation of online gaming bills, 2025, with online gaming and e-sports sector to regulate, as well as all online games associated with all online games were banned.
According to government data, 1,524 orders were issued between 2022 and June 2025 banning gambling platforms.
