Mohanlal to lend his voice to two plays at All Kerala Radio Drama Festival of All India Radio

The All Kerala Radio Mahotsav organized by the stations of Akashvani (All India Radio) is back after a gap of eight years. The nine-day festival, which would begin with a preview on May 10, was halted during the pandemic and has not been revived.

As has been the tradition, actors from Malayalam cinema, serials and television industries are part of the presentations this year too. These include actor Mohanlal who is lending his voice for two productions.

is there anyone Daivathin Manamaru KanduA drama to be telecast by Thiruvananthapuram station on 11 May. Other notable voices in the production are MR Gopakumar, Bhagyalakshmi, Sandhya Rajendran, Nandu and Sajan Surya. Written by Jayaraj Mitra, this play is directed by Ruby Babu.

Mohanlal will also be included kadamkathayile virunnukaranKochi Station’s production will be aired on May 17. Directed by MV Sasikumar and NS Jeyamohan and written by Mohammed Roshan, it also stars Mala Parvathy, Sivadha, Muthumani and Aditi Ravi.

While Kozhikode station presents two plays – Madakkam (May 12) and Kanka, Kadaleen, Kanthurakkathe (16 May), Thiruvananthapuram Station Presents Jivithotsavam Thrissur station production on 13th May Sethulakshmi Kathirunna Rathotsavam (14 May) and is from Kannur silent witness (15 May). The review of the plays will be broadcast on 18th May.

This year’s drama festival coincides with the 90th anniversary celebrations of All India Radio.

All dramas will be telecast at 9.30 pm, with repeat telecast the next day at 1 pm. Tune into Akashvani stations or News on Air app to listen to the dramas.
