Nani is enjoying her coming love paradiseBut an old interview has now drawn attention to another aspect of his career. The Telugu actor is known as the Natural Star, a name that has stuck with him over the years.

The star once revealed that the title did not come from a specific film or performance. She said that it gradually became part of her identity because of the films she chose and the way she worked.

Nani initially felt awkward about the tag, but fans also began using the name with affection.

In a 2024 interview with IMDBNani explained, “Not really a specific role but it was a process because initially the kind of films I chose or the kind of acting I did, everyone started calling me Sahaja Natudu, which means natural actor.

“A movie, that is Kapiraju is aliveThe director put the title card ‘Natural Actor Nani’ and when I did this film it was said Good luckWhich is a blockbuster and it’s a comedy. My director said he wanted to keep the title “Natural Star” and I thought he was joking.”

“I didn’t want him to do that. A few times when he insisted, I thought, well, it’s a comedy film anyway, maybe it’ll be taken lightly but the film turned out to be a blockbuster. Audience feedback, they loved the tag and after that every director started saying they wanted to put the tag too. So, I took it a little bit and I asked to do it.”

Over time, when Nani “saw so many messages from fans, when they start saying, ‘My dear natural star, when they start expressing their love for me,'” she accepted the title and felt comfortable with the name.

After its release on September 24, paradise has earned Rs 54.90 crore at the Indian box office. The film has earned Rs 22 crores from overseas markets as well. Combining both figures, the film has so far collected Rs 76.90 crore worldwide.

Apart from Nani, the Srikanth Odela directorial also stars Mohan Babu, Kayadu Lohar, Sonali Kulkarni and Raghav Jual.
