Sources told NDTV that actor Nushrat Bharucha, who was in Bali for a work commitment, met with an accident there. Nushrat is currently undergoing treatment in a hospital in Bali after the injury. He has extended his stay in Bali since the accident. The nature of the injury is yet to be ascertained.

“Nushrat Bharucha has met with an unfortunate accident in Bali. She had traveled there for a work commitment and extended her stay by a few days. She sustained injuries in the accident and is currently admitted to a hospital in Bali under medical care,” sources told NDTV.

A week ago, the actor shared some holiday pictures on his social media feed.

Nusrat Bharucha has reportedly joined the cast of Tiger Shroff’s next. The film marks the first on-screen collaboration between Tiger Shroff and Nushrat Bharucha.

“The team wanted someone who could bring strength and emotional depth to the story. Nushrat was always one of the strongest choices. Her role has relevance, and audiences will see her in an exciting new avatar,” a source close to Vikas told Pinkvilla.

While details about her character are being kept under wraps, sources say the makers have written a role that carries considerable weight in the film’s narrative. It has also been suggested that her part goes beyond a traditional female co-lead.

According to a report in Bollywood Hungama, the film also stars Pashmina Roshan, Abhishek Banerjee and Elvish Yadav in lead roles. The project is also a big milestone for producer Vicky Jain, who is making his debut as a producer under his newly launched banner, VJ Frames.

Nushrat Bharucha was last seen in the comedy thriller Uf Ye Syapa opposite Soham Shah.
