Mika Singh has questioned Diljit Dosanjh’s approach to promoting his Bollywood films, especially regarding his looks. Border 2. According to Mika, the Punjabi singer-actor did not do enough to promote the war drama, while he appeared to be paying more attention to it. While talking to Times Now, Mika raised questions on Diljit’s involvement in the promotion Border 2. Directed by Anurag Singh, the film starred Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan and Ahan Shetty alongside Diljit. The project was released in January this year.

Mika said that he felt that Diljit did not give the film enough exposure on social media and also stated that he had not seen the actor publicly highlighting his opportunity to work with Sunny Deol.

“I could be wrong, but I feel that when Border 2 Turns out, Diljit Paaji did not promote even one percent of it. He didn’t thank Sunny Paaji even a cent,” said Mika.

He added, “I have never seen Diljit say, ‘It’s a big deal that my film with Sunny Deol is coming out.’ He never talked about it Border 2. When the movie came out, and even after that, I didn’t see him post about it. And The face grew back was also issued, but he did not find any post. He made only one post about his film which had a Pakistani cast.

Mika’s comments came despite being part of Diljit’s campaign Border 2. He unveiled his first look from the film in December 2025. Diljit also shared behind-the-scenes content of the film.

Mika also raised Sardar Ji 3It starred Diljit along with Neeru Bajwa and Hania Aamir. The film gained attention in 2025 after Hania’s casting became a talking point amid tensions between India and Pakistan following the Pahalgam terror attack. It was finally released overseas in June 2025, without an Indian theatrical release.

“He posted about his film with a Pakistani heroine. Neeru Bajwa is also in that film, but there was no mention of Neeru Bajwa. I think you should promote everything,” Mika said.

Mika insisted that he was talking to Diljit as “a brother” and questioned why an actor would not actively promote his Bollywood projects.

“I don’t understand it. Why don’t you promote Bollywood when you work in Bollywood? Then you say, ‘I don’t need Bollywood,’ but you work in Bollywood. I am saying these things to him as a brother. Border 2 One of the biggest films for our country. This is a film about India. Why don’t you post about it? You can check his Instagram and see if there is a single video where he has promoted Border 2” he concluded.
