Thalapathy Vijay’s son Jason Sanjay is gearing up for the release of his directorial debut. sigma. Before the film hit the theatres, the young filmmaker received warm greetings from veteran actor Nagarjuna Akkineni.
Sanjay appeared on the weekend episode of Bigg Boss Telugu Season 10 along with the film’s lead actor Sandeep Kishan.
During his conversation, Nagarjuna spoke about Vijay’s popularity among the Telugu audience and hoped that Jason and his upcoming film will receive similar love when it releases in theatres.
“Our Telugu audience is very open. Every film of your father has collected hugely in Telugu states. And they love Thalapathy Vijay Garu here. Hope you and your film will be given the same love. sigmaNagarjuna said.

Nagarjuna is not the only actor who spoke highly of Jason ahead of his debut. During an earlier promotional event for sigmaChiranjeevi recalls his first impression of the filmmaker. He said that Jason reminded him a lot of Vijay from the early years of his career.
“When Jason invited me to the event, I said, ‘You look exactly like your father in 1993-94-95. Why aren’t you acting instead of directing?'” Chiranjeevi said, adding that Jason clarified that his interest has been in writing and filmmaking rather than acting.
