YouTuber and Bigg Boss fame Anurag Doval, popularly known as Ryder UK07, has been booked in a case following allegations of assault along with his brother-in-law Raj Singh Chauhan in Dehradun.

The matter has taken a new turn in the ongoing family feud between Anurag and his wife Ritika Chauhan.

Accordingly Bhaskar EnglishA case was registered under Sections 117(2), 191(2) and 351(3) of the Indian Penal Code (BNS). The alleged altercation took place near Yellow Hills Cafe on Haridwar-Bypass Road.

Allegations of Raj Singh Chauhan

In its complaint, the state has made several serious allegations against Anurag and other people named in the case. He claimed that he was called to the said place in connection with a family dispute. According to her version, Anurag approached her from behind and grabbed her by the neck before allegedly trying to take her phone.

Raj further alleged that the situation turned violent when Anurag and others could not access his mobile phone. He claimed that Anurag allegedly asked his accomplices to kill him, after which he was attacked.

According to the complaint, Raj was allegedly attacked with an iron rod and sustained injuries on his head, chest and face. He has also alleged that the gang tried to push him down the car. The state claimed that one of the accused later threatened him with a knife and a gun and threats were also made to his family.

Among other allegations in the complaint is a claim that Anurag told Raj that he had committed two murders and that no one could harm him. Raj also alleged that his watch and gold chain were taken away during the incident.

Apart from Abhay Chaudhary, Tapan Pandit, Dhaval Rajpurohit, Abhishek Tiger, Abhinav Srivastava and Guru Bhai, the State has named Anurag and others in the complaint. He has also alleged that the officer-in-charge of the bypass police post favored the accused.

Anurag has denied the allegations

Anurag has given a different statement about this. He denied attacking the state and claimed that he and his group were attacked first. He said that he contacted the police emergency number 112 and later submitted a written application at the police station.

“Actually, we were attacked in Dehradun. We called 112 and also filed an application at the police station.”

Speaking about the situation at the police station, Anurag claimed that five people were with him while around 100 locals had allegedly gathered against him. He said he would share his version of the incident with “facts and figures” at a later stage.

Anurag also denied the allegation that he had recently gone to someone’s house in Tehri to threaten them. According to him, he had not been to Tehri for about six months and had returned from Chandigarh a day before the incident.

“I haven’t been to Tehri for the past six months. Anyone can say anything to accuse.”

Asked who attacked Raj, Anurag did not name anyone and said he would present his side on the matter later. He also claimed that an attempt was being made to kill him and said that he had approached the police with a complaint regarding the alleged threat.

Ritika Chauhan speaks

Meanwhile, Ritika has spoken publicly about the incident and shared videos. In a video, he questioned the perception of Anurag as a “very good and decent person”, pointing out the injuries allegedly inflicted by Raj.

Ritika claimed that Anurag had to face estrangement not only with her but also with many people in his family and social circle. He alleged that he has been quarreling with his parents, his mother, their children, his in-laws and friends.

He also accused Anurag of trying to create a “fake narrative” around the allegations about his alleged relationship with Abhishek Saini.

Ritika further claimed that Anurag recently went to Ayush Thapliyal’s house along with several people. She said she was worried about the safety of her family and those close to them, while also alleging that Anurag might try to keep their child away from her.

In another allegation, Ritika claimed that her social media account was suspended at the behest of Anurag and alleged that the move was to prevent her from speaking about the matter.

Ritika and Anurag are married but family disputes are going on. Raj is Ritika’s cousin.

The allegations leveled by both parties have not been independently established. Police are investigating the matter.
