Nana Patekar died of a heart attack on October 8 at his residence in Goa. Now actress Tanushree Dutta has spoken about her death. However, she said she did not want to comment at the moment.
In a video shared on her Instagram story, Tanushree said, “I have heard. I have heard the news. I just… today is my work day. I am going to Lucknow for an event, and I want to focus on that. What a strange day for all this to happen because I’m doing a huge event in Lucknow, and it’s very important to me, and I had my whole day planned. I’ve wanted to do this all my life, post stuff. Now I’m worried that the entire media is going to be interested in this evil dead in the evening. So I will give my reaction when I understand what kind of reactions I should have. So… definitely sympathies to the family…”
According to hospital sources, doctors tried to resuscitate him for about 45 minutes after he was brought, but there was no response. The actor was declared dead at 5:20 am.
#MeToo controversy with Tanushree and Nana Patekar
Tanushree had accused Nana Patekar of sexual harassment in 2009 when he was shooting for a song of his film in 2009. Horn ‘OK’ Please, During a Zoom interview in 2018. In June 2019, Patekar was cleared of sexual assault charges by the police. The B-summary report filed by Mumbai’s Oshiwara police station said that the complaint filed by Tanushree could be “vindictive” and “vindictive”.
Nana Patekar’s last rites will be held on Thursday evening at his farmhouse in Donaje near Pune. The veteran actor will be given a state funeral in recognition of his contribution to theater and cinema.
