Love Gill, Scout Op and Kashvi Hiranandani’s controversies continue to grow inside and outside the country. Bigg Boss 20 After Ghar Kashvi confronted Luv about his closeness with Scout and host Rohit Shetty questioned their ‘sibling’ relationship on the Weekend Ka Vaar episode, the singer’s team has now broken their silence on the matter.
In a statement shared on Instagram, the team condemned Love’s investigation, alleging that his character was tarnished on national television. The statement read, “His family is devastated.
The team maintained that Love was clear about his boundaries from the beginning and saw ScoutOP as a brother. However, it alleged that Scout blurred those boundaries by confessing her feelings. “Society applies its oldest, most toxic double standard: Blame the woman. Why is a grown man treated as a victim of hypnosis, while a girl is painted as a calculated temptation? Why is he expected to bear the burden, shame, and humiliation for feelings he never asked for and never reciprocated?” Statement added.
Love’s team described the entire episode as a “public execution” of her character. The statement added that she deserved to be heard, respected and protected, but instead she was left to face judgment and humiliation.
“No woman should ever have to pay for a man’s choices. No family should ever have to see their child torn apart like this. Love Gill deserved compassion, not cruelty. She deserved justice, not character assassination,” the statement said.
This comes after host Rohit Shetty confronted Scoutop and Love over their physical interactions, including hand, foot and neck massages. The host warned them about how their intimacy might be perceived by viewers watching the show.
The situation escalated when Scout’s girlfriend, Kashvi Hiranandani, appeared on the show and asked him to set boundaries and distance himself from love. The creator claimed that the entire fandom outside of Scout “hated” the singer and that he emotionally manipulated Scout for his game.
Despite speculation surrounding their closeness, neither ScoutOP nor Love Gill have confirmed being romantically involved with the other.
