Ranbir Kapoor, along with his Ramayan co-stars Sai Pallavi and Ravi Dubey, joined Amitabh Bachchan for a heart-to-heart on Kaun Banega Crorepati 18. Taking a cue from the term Gen Z, Ranbir called Amitabh Bachchan the epitome of “aura farming” when he was young.
Recalling his childhood visit to the sets of Ajuba, Ranbir said, “If you remember, I came on the sets of the film ‘Ajuba’. You later shared a picture of it on your social media. Abhi General Z ‘Aara Ghari’ bolati hai, but jab aate, gariba aura ghari hi hote da, ghar ghar ghar ghar mein”. Tha.”
Ranbir also shared that, apart from his father Rishi Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan was someone he couldn’t make direct eye contact with.

About the Ramayana
Ramayana has been made on a huge budget of Rs 4,000 crore.
Speaking to Prakhar Gupta, producer Namit Malhotra revealed, “When we started making it six or seven years ago, people thought I was crazy because no other Indian film comes close to this scale. Put simply, the two parts combined will have a budget of around $500 million, which is over Rs 4,000 crore.”
He added, “We’re making the world’s biggest film for the greatest epic in the world that deserves to be seen globally. And yet, I believe we’re doing it more efficiently than the biggest Hollywood films. We’re not being irresponsible—we’re being ambitious, but grounded.”
The film is slated to be released in two parts, with the first installment set to release worldwide on November 5, 2026, before Diwali, while the second part is slated for Diwali 2027.
